About

The Notre Dame Chorale, founded in 1974, is the official concert choir of the University of Notre Dame. We are a mixed ensemble of 60-70 voices specializing in great choral works from the Renaissance to today, performing each fall and spring at the University of Notre Dame's DeBartolo Performing Arts Center. In addition, the Chorale continues a beloved tradition of performing Handel's Messiah with the Festival Baroque Orchestra to sold-out crowds every December.

Our annual calendar also includes a winter tour to cities across the U.S., an afternoon concert during Commencement Weekend, and participation in the Baccalaureate Mass alongside other university choirs. Every three to four years, we embark on an international tour, sharing our music with audiences around the world. 

For over 50 years, the Chorale has served to unify a range of voices from across the tri-campus community in order to present breathtaking performances and build a community of students united by music. Through our campus concerts, domestic and international tours, and online livestreams, we invite the Notre Dame community to share in the gift of music and community at the heart of the Chorale.
